Pine Knob Golf Club, The Mansion

Built in 1927 as the private estate of Colonel Sidney Dunn Waldon, former vice president of both Packard and Cadillac, Pine Knob Mansion was designed as a quiet retreat from city life.

Set high above the Clarkston landscape, the 19-room English manor still feels richly historic, with arched ceilings, stone walls, carved woodwork, stained glass, and other original details woven throughout the house.

Between the gardens, gazebo, library, Great Hall, and sweeping views in every direction, the property has the kind of atmosphere that feels both romantic and unmistakably Michigan.
